Our Liquid Silicone Rubber is a two component addition cure platinum catalyzed silicone specifically formulated for screen printing and dispensing on textiles to create anti slip patterns, heel grips, and protective coatings on socks, heel protectors, gloves, and sportswear.

In the textile industry, addition cure LSR is widely used for creating anti slip patterns on socks and heel protectors due to its excellent adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to washing. Silicone patterns are typically applied through screen printing (serigraphy) or dispensing technology, then heat cured to form a soft yet durable anti slip layer on the fabric surface.

This material is specifically designed to provide strong adhesion to various substrates including cotton, polyester, nylon, and blended fabrics, ensuring long lasting bonding without peeling. At the same time, it delivers excellent anti slip properties, meeting the functional requirements of anti slip socks and foot care products

High Tear Strength and Elasticity - Tear strength up to 20 kN m ensures silicone patterns withstand repeated stretching and friction without cracking. Elongation at break of over 500 to 900 percent for demanding textile applications.

Excellent Adhesion to Textiles - Good initial adhesion to cotton, polyester, nylon, and blended fabrics without the need for primers. Ensures long lasting bonding and maintains integrity under repeated stretching and washing.

Low Hardness for Soft Touch - Shore A hardness from 5 to 20 provides soft, comfortable feel against skin. Non tacky surface for sensory comfort.

Heat Cured Addition Cure System - Cures rapidly under heat (150-204 degrees Celsius, 10-60 seconds), suitable for high volume production lines. 1 to 1 mix ratio for easy operation.

Wide Temperature Range - Stable from 60 to 200 degrees Celsius, maintains elastic properties under extreme environmental conditions.

Wash Resistance - Silicone patterns maintain anti slip performance and adhesion after multiple wash cycles

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Reproduction of Vertical Surfaces
If a skin mold is required of a vertical object or surface and cannot be made by normal pouring techniques, the catalyzed mixture can be made non flowable by the addition of thixotropic agent.

1. Prepare the original as described earlier.
2. Brush the original with a thin layer of catalyzed mixture. Repeat the operation when the first layer has started to cure, to achieve a coating thickness of >2mm. Leave to cure at
room temperature until the material is tacky.
3. Prepare a new catalyzed mixture of silicone and add 1% by weight of thixotropic additive and mix thoroughly until a paste consistency is reached. De-airing of the mixture is not
required.
4. Using a spatula, cover the coated original with the thixotropic coating until all undercuts are filled; leave to cure for 24 hours at room temperature.
5. Construct a support mold using polyester resin or plaster and allow to set in contact with the silicone coating. Carefully remove the support mold. Peel the rubber off the original
and place in the support mold.

Use at High Temperatures
Some molds produced from condensation cure silicone rubbers can degrade when exposed to temperatures above 150°C (302°F) over a period of time or when totally confined in
storage at high ambient temperatures. This can result in softening and loss of elastic properties.
Resistance to Casting Materials
The chemical resistance of fully cured silicone rubber is excellent, and similar to all condensation cure silicone elastomers. It should be noted however that ultimately, resins and
other aggressive casting materials will attack silicone molds, changing physical properties, surface release and possibly mold dimensions. Molds should be checked periodically during
long production runs.
